VMware Data Recovery

VMware is a startup that provides companies with access to cloud computing and IT support. Cloud computing is the process of outsourcing various software programs to outside servers. At the moment, most cloud computing is used for storage. Instead of storing a file on a single desktop computer belonging to a single employee, the file can be stored on a server that the employee can access from any device with an internet connection. Furthermore, other employees can easily access the same file, streamlining collaboration. The fear with cloud computing is about security. The servers that run the cloud application belong to the company offering the service. For example, Dropbox is a popular cloud storage application. Businesses buy a subscription to dropbox and their company is basically renting space on a server where they can store all of their files and make the files accessible to all of their employees. However, the server still belongs to Dropbox. The alternative would be for a company to create its own servers and its own software that is only used for its own employees. However, that would defeat the purpose of hiring an IT company that specializes in software development. The company would have to create an IT department that could develop and build new software for the company. The cost of paying all of those highly specialized employees, the lack of qualified people, and the cost of building the hardware and software to support such endeavors all serve as barriers to that path.

VMware believes that the future of cloud computing will see some sort of hybrid of that public/private relationship. IT companies will be the ones to provide the service, but they will find a way to isolate the process for each business. VMware leads the innovation by creating cloud computing services on the company's own servers. They create virtual machines (VM) on the company servers that are responsible for running one application each. This cuts down on the need for multiple servers, and helps optimize the businesses IT capacity. It also provides the business with more security.

VM's almost eliminate the need for VMware data recovery because each machine is isolated and so failures don't spread. VMware also provides a service called VMware Data Protection Advanced which creates backups of each virtual machine in order to ensure that no data is lost. VMware also provides data recovery back-up in the form of disk-based backup and recovery, image level and individual file restore, data deduplication and, VSS support.

VMware is based in Palo Alto California, but they have offices all over the world in order to provide customer service and support. Their closest office to the global business center of Manhattan is located in Warren, NJ. The VMware employees help provide New York City Data Recovery services. They can be reached at (877)-486-9273, (650)-427-5000 or through their website. New York City data recovery is an important and booming business. Many of the businesses that play vital roles in the global economy rely on their tech. If they go down, businesses can lose a lot of money. VMware data recovery is highly efficient, but they have had some complaints when it comes to their customer service. This is possibly the business' weakest area. VMware products perform magnificently, but they are going to have to improve their customer service in order to be competitive in the market.
